CAPORA CITY GUIDE
How Smuggling & Travel works
Smuggling connects the world map to the economy. Goods change in value by city, cargo is limited and travel decisions determine whether a route becomes profit or wasted movement.
Buy goods where they make sense
Each city market can price illegal goods differently. The aim is not simply to buy the most expensive item; it is to identify a spread that still makes sense after travel, cargo limits and risk.
Cargo capacity
Your cargo space limits how much stock you can carry. When cargo is full the game prevents pointless extra buying, while stock you already hold can be sold where the market is favourable.
Travel between cities
Travel moves your character to another city and has its own cost and cooldown. Location matters across multiple systems, so a smuggling route can also change what businesses, players, targets and city activities are available.
Player-owned Travel Agencies
Every city can support a Travel Agency owner. The owner can set the outgoing fare within game limits and receives travel payments generated from that city, turning player movement into business income.
Market movement
Smuggling prices are built to move rather than remain a permanent fixed spreadsheet. Profitable routes therefore require observation and timing instead of memorising one route forever.
GOOD TO KNOW
Practical tips
- Calculate the whole route, not just the buy price.
- Do not fill cargo with stock you cannot profitably move.
- Travel can serve several goals at once; plan around more than Smuggling.
- A Travel Agency is a major investment and should be treated as a long-term business.
