CAPORA CITY GUIDE
How Racing works
Racing gives your vehicle collection a competitive purpose. Choose your active car, enter events, manage the race itself and build Racing Rep to unlock tougher competition.
Prepare the car
A race starts before the start line. Your active vehicle needs enough fuel and should be in suitable condition. Upgrades can improve its performance, but damaged components and poor maintenance can undo the advantage.
Choose an event
Racing events unlock as your Racing Rep increases. That means progression is based on actually racing rather than simply owning the fastest vehicle available.
Race interaction
Races play out as live sessions rather than an instant success/fail message. Timing and supported actions such as nitrous give you something to manage while the race is underway.
Results and rewards
The finish produces a clear result and can award cash, XP and Racing Rep. Wins and losses are tracked, giving your Garage history and your racing career a visible record.
Wear, fuel and cooldowns
Racing has consequences for the car and character. Fuel, vehicle wear, Energy and race cooldowns stop the system becoming a free infinite loop and make preparation part of the strategy.
Build a race collection
As your Garage grows, you can keep vehicles for different performance profiles rather than treating every car as a cash item. That creates a reason to steal, maintain and upgrade beyond simple resale.

Practical tips
- Repair before a major race instead of after a preventable loss.
- Build Racing Rep steadily; later events are progression content, not shortcuts.
- Use nitrous deliberately rather than immediately.
- Watch fuel and component wear after each run.
- A balanced setup can outperform an expensive but neglected vehicle.
