How Player Profiles & Advanced BBCode works
Capora City profiles can be built like personalised mini pages without exposing raw HTML or scripts. The BBCode system supports game links, styled buttons, resized media, YouTube and live profile information that changes for the person viewing it.
Internal and external links
Links are not limited to http or https. A profile can link directly to Capora pages using paths such as /index.php?panel=players. Add target=same to stay in the current tab or target=new to open another tab. Add underline=no when the design should not use the normal link underline.
Clickable profile buttons
Use the button BBCode to turn a destination into a proper Capora-styled clickable button. Example: [button=/index.php?panel=players target=same]View Players[/button]. External destinations are also supported and safely validated.
Resizable images
Images can be given a width, height or both: [img width=480 height=270]IMAGE-URL[/img]. The rendered image still respects the available screen width so a profile cannot force horizontal scrolling on phones or tablets.
YouTube embeds
Use [youtube] with either a normal YouTube URL, Shorts URL or video ID. Videos use the same responsive media frame as the other Capora BBCode areas.
Live visitor and profile tags
[ViewingUser] becomes the current viewer name, while [myViews] shows the profile’s accumulated view count. [MyUsername], [MyRank], [MyFamily], [MyWealth], [Crimes], [AutoThefts], [JailBusts], [Contracts], [RaceWins], [Missions] and [CaporaTrophies] let a player build live stat displays without manually editing them.
Operation readiness tags
[OCStatus] and [KidnapStatus] render as live readiness badges. Ready displays in green and an active cooldown displays in red. [OnlineStatus] can also be used for a live presence badge.
Shared safe renderer
Links, buttons, resized images and YouTube are handled by the same sanitised BBCode layer across Profiles, Forums, Messages, Family profile content and Changelog output, so the syntax stays predictable and unsafe script URLs are rejected.

Practical tips
- Use internal links to build useful navigation into a profile.
- Use target=same for normal Capora pages and target=new when an external destination should not replace the game tab.
- Keep image sizes sensible even though the renderer also constrains them responsively.
- Live profile tags are profile-only because they depend on the owner and current viewer.
