CAPORA CITY GUIDE
How Auto Theft & Chop Shop works
Auto Theft turns stealing cars into a progression system with scouting, security, district activity, Heat and a real vehicle collection at the end of a successful job.
Work through theft tiers
You begin with lower-security street targets and unlock tougher activities through continued attempts and progression. The route grows from everyday vehicles into increasingly valuable and protected targets, including higher-end opportunities where the reward is worth the extra attention.
Scout the city map
Auto Theft uses the city and its districts as part of the experience. Vehicle opportunities appear on the map, letting you select a target rather than simply receiving a random car from a button press. District pressure and local conditions can influence the risk around an attempt.
Beat the vehicle security
Once you commit to a target, the theft moves through an interactive sequence. Tools, activity tier and the vehicle itself matter. Success puts that exact vehicle into your Garage with its own condition, fuel, mileage and identity.
Heat and police pressure
Stealing vehicles increases personal Heat and can also affect pressure in the surrounding district. Higher-tier thefts bring more serious consequences, and failed attempts can result in arrest.
What happens to a stolen car
A successful vehicle is not just converted into cash. You can keep it, make it active, maintain it, upgrade it, race it, sell it through supported systems or use it when a Chop Shop order asks for a matching vehicle.
Chop Shop orders
The Chop Shop creates rotating demand for specific stolen vehicles. Instead of selling everything immediately, watch the requested list and decide whether a vehicle is worth keeping for a future delivery, racing, collection value or disposal.

Practical tips
- Garage space is valuable, so keep a reason for every vehicle you store.
- Higher theft tiers are not automatically better if your setup is weak.
- Check condition and fuel before deciding a stolen car is race-ready.
- Watch the Chop Shop before disposing of uncommon vehicles.
- Specialist tools can be more valuable than forcing repeated high-risk attempts.
